National Safeguarding Adults Week was 15-21 November. The theme was ‘Creating Safer Cultures’. Promoting safer cultures is about each of us taking steps to minimise harm occurring in the first place – being the ‘eyes in our communities’, looking out for each other, our friends, family and neighbours. Safeguarding is not just for one week of the year but for every day.
